With it, users can seamlessly utilize selected Android applications directly from the multimedia system in their car.

Who can benefit from VolksWagen App-Connect Android Auto?

Virtually anyone with a phone running Android 6.0 or newer can take advantage of this service. Yes! Even users with phones up to 10 years old can utilize this solution. In simplified terms: Do you have an Android phone? This solution is tailored for you!

The specific car model is less significant, as the multimedia systems supporting this function have been available in various Volkswagen models since 2016. However, not all users may have activated this feature upon purchasing their vehicle or may have opted out of this additional function. Our activation service targets owners of the “Discover Media” and “Discover Pro” navigation systems for whom App-Connect is supported but requires activation.

VolksWagen App-Connect Android Auto enables the use of music applications on the in-car screen. This allows users to access their entire music library from popular streaming services directly on the car’s screen, including Youtube Music, Apple Music, Amazon Music, Spotify, Tidal, and Audible.

Traditional Features:

Of course, basic communication functions remain available, but they have been slightly expanded. The Telephone function, along with access to the phone book, is available on the car’s screen. A new feature is the handling of messages from both SMS applications and messaging platforms like WhatsApp, Telegram, or Zoom directly from the car’s screen.
