The install was fairly simple. The issue is with the CarPlay itself there is no way to toggle to select it with putting in the car. I have to hook up to usb first to let it know I’m in the car and then it recognizes my Bluetooth ( antenna wasn’t bent or pinched). When it’s through Bluetooth you still have to have in it aux mode to play or you will get the radio or whatever media you had on prior to CarPlay activating. But it’s cheaper than buying another radio so I’ll take the good with the bad

Installed it in a 2014 Porsche 911. Works flawlessly. I read some comments before that the installation is not very difficult. I have to disagree. Depending on the car, it might be easier. But in the Porsche 911 it is quite a challenge to take out the radio, open the radio, install the card with all it's cables, get it properly closed again and all this without braking anything. Luckily I succeeded, but it did take a few hours to get it done.
Now I very much love it and happy I did it.
