How to identify your system via VIN?

If you have access to a VIN decoder (datacard), you can look for specific option codes to confirm your MBUX version:

• Option 534 CONNECT 20 PREMIUM (NTG7) indicates you have the NTG 7 system.
• Option 528 MBUX PREMIUM MULTIMEDIA SYSTEM (GEN. 20X) indicates you have the Gen20x system.

We provide official license codes (PIN) and direct download links for the following regions:

Imported your car from North America?

If you have imported a new Mercedes-Benz (W214, CLE, GLE 2024+) from the USA or Canada, the navigation system will not recognize European or Middle Eastern maps by default.

1. Region Coding: We remotely reconfigure your MBUX Head Unit to change the region from "North America" to your target region (e.g., Europe).
