   Au départ, j'étais un peu perplexe à l'idée d'installer le kit sur ma CX-3. Finalement, j'ai bien reçu tout le matériel nécessaire, et le service après-vente a été extrêmement réactif. Ils m'ont rapidement envoyé le lien pour la mise à jour, et j'ai pu tout installer en une après-midi. Pour le montage, j'ai suivi un tutoriel sur YouTube, et ce n'était pas très compliqué. Grâce à cela, j'ai économisé 250 euros par rapport à ce que cela m'aurait coûté dans un garage MAZDA.

   No problem, installation hard about 2 hours.
   Need to update the firmware, downloaded from the links on the seller's page,
   I got the module that says P1 and not the P2 that is supposed to be the newest. Even so, the system was quite fast and without any delay or lag.
   CP and AA cable, the screen enables touch for CP.

   The foam should 0.5 cm wider, I had to use ducktape. More work than installing a reversing camera and the cable has to be fixed at least 20 points to be safe (the gearbox and the handbrake are close), but everything is great and works like the original: no touchscreen support. I did not use Android Auto before, so it feels really limited to me but this package has nothing to do with it. The longer video in the description is awesome, definitely use that.

   I thought the installation would be more laborious but it was quite simple and more the tool kit that already came.
   Beware that before installing the equipment you must update to a version greater than 70.000.100 yes or yes but in the event that your vehicle is a Yaris IA, Yaris R or Scion IA, will change the home logo of the screen to the Mazda logo and the red color interface, But functional 100%.
   Tested with android car I already have no Apple devices but I suppose it must work without problems.
   You forget the navigation card and instead you better use google maps or waze.

In my case, the bolt was tightened so hard that it was not possible to unscrew it just with a screwdriver, I had to go a hundred and ask for a "knee". Generally works, satisfied with the seller, the instructions are in the chat.

   I purchased the wireless version of the Retrofit Kit and opted for professional installation. The initial experience was positive - it connected seamlessly and provided the convenience of a wire-free environment.
   
   However, I began to encounter issues by the third use. Suddenly, CarPlay wouldn’t load. Regardless of the numerous troubleshooting steps I took - from wired connections to device removal and reconnection, and even resetting my phone’s paired devices - the kit displayed inconsistent functionality. At times, it would just begin to work again after a few hours, leaving me puzzled about its erratic behavior. It's disheartening because when it works, it's fantastic. Yet, due to these reliability concerns, I initially rated this product 2 stars.

   Here is a little tip from Mr. Zumunda, butter knives four to be exact. So many YouTube videos showing people ripping center out of car, dash removed and my favorite drilling it out like a moron . Two things to remove, I'll make it simple, glove box and radio. The little box your trying to replace has 4 tabs place butter knives above and below tabs pull out. five minutes of work, rewire put together chill with coffee and android auto.

   No need to disassemble your entire center console. There is a great video on YouTube showing you how to remove the old unit with just a flat head screwdriver. Tip, use the flathead to press down on the tabs while pushing with your free hand from behind (access through the glove compartment). This will loosen it enough to pry it out.
   
   PS - Touchscreen does not work with AA (apparently does with Car Play), but voice and dial work fine. Will provide update after a week of use.

   As of 6/2022, this product works as expected.For $130 and a couple of hours, you’ll save $500+ by not going to a dealership to install it.IMPORTANT: You MUST have your firmware updated to at least Ver. 70.00+ or this WON’T work.I was nervous about buying it online and not officially from a Mazda Parts dealership but I can confirm that this component works perfectly!They provide you with everything you need but I recommend buying a car trim kit from naviworld for $7 to make it easier getting all the trim off.From the pictures and videos you’ll see people dismantling their interior to install this, it looks crazy intimidating but I assure you it’s very easy, it just takes a little bit of time getting the trim off to feed the wire where it needs to go. The manual informs you which wires go where, it’s basically playing with Lego.I 100% recommend this component and installing it yourself. I think it added several years of more use to this car for me since I very much wanted a car that had Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
