No official updates are available through Fiat channels anymore.
We offer a custom solution that enables your system to run the latest maps using Mazda-based tools.

🧠 What We’ve Done:

We’ve created a firmware update that allows your Fiat 124 Spider to use the latest Mazda navigation maps (2024/2025), normally available only to Mazda owners.

🔧 What We Need From You:

1. Your Fiat 124 Spider VIN

2. Your infotainment firmware version (you can find this in system settings)

🔄 Installation Options:

🔹 Option 1 –  Firmware version lower than 59.00.502 (Fiat original):

Step 1 – Firmware Update

• We’ll send you link to a firmware files.

• Copy them to a USB stick (2–16 GB, FAT32).

• Plug into the car with the infotainment system on.

• Update takes 1–2 minutes and reboots automatically.

Step 2 – Map Installation

• You’ll receive (with option 2024 downloadable map data; with option 2024 SD card you will receive SD card):

  • A download link for 2024/2025 maps 

  • A VIN-file generated for your VIN

• Copy map data to an SD card (16–32 GB, Class 4–10, FAT32)

  • Do not use cards larger than 32 GB or UHS (Ultra High Speed) camera cards

  • You may reuse your existing navigation card

• Place the content folder in the root of the SD card

• Place the  VIN-file inside the license folder

🔹 Option 2 – Firmware version is or above 59.00.502 or you have Mazda firmware installed (70.00.100 or higher):

🟡 Conditionally supported 
➡️ Requires ID7_Recovery patch installed or CMU Serial Access  

What to do:

1. If ID7_Recovery is already installed – you can proceed.

2. Process is the same as for Option 1

If ID7_Recovery is NOT installed and CMU Serial Access  is not possible 2024/2025 SD card or 2024/2025 Downloadable Map data WONT work with your Fiat 124 Spider.
